Camera, photos, and OCR
The mobile app uses camera or photos only after your action. Mobile OCR runs on-device. Web OCR sends the selected image to Google Cloud Vision and does not intentionally retain it after the request.

Purpose
Data is used to provide WareCode, secure the service, diagnose problems, and answer support requests.
Providers
Vercel hosts the site, Google Cloud Vision handles requested web OCR, Google Analytics runs only after consent, and Apple or Google distribute the apps.
Control
Retention and deletion
Local data
Data remains until you delete it, clear browser data, or uninstall the app. Create any backup you need first.
Security
WareCode does not sell personal data or use it for advertising. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.
