How I handle personal data

This website is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. Most pages are informational, and the contact flow opens your email app instead of sending form submissions to a hidden database.

What I collect

  • Contact details and the content of your message when you write to me by email or through the contact flow.
  • Wallet card builder data you submit if you generate an Apple Wallet pass, such as name, role, location, link label, link URL, email, GitHub, LinkedIn, note and colors.
  • Technical data that your browser and hosting provider may process automatically, such as IP address, user agent, timestamps and request metadata.
  • Local preferences stored in your browser, such as the selected theme.

Why I use it

  • Reply to your messages and continue the conversation you start.
  • Generate and download the Apple Wallet pass you request.
  • Keep the website functional, secure and fast.
  • Remember user preferences like light or dark mode.

Legal basis

  • Your consent, when you choose to contact me or generate a pass.
  • Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, when you ask about a project or service.
  • My legitimate interest in operating, securing and improving this website.
  • Where required, compliance with legal obligations.

Who may process it

  • My hosting and infrastructure provider, for website delivery and technical logs.
  • Your email provider, if you contact me by email or open the prepared mail draft.
  • Apple Wallet and related signing libraries, only to create the pass file you asked for.
  • Other service providers only when necessary to run the website or respond to your request.

How long I keep it

  • Contact emails are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and maintain a work history, unless you ask for deletion where applicable.
  • Wallet pass generation data is processed temporarily to create the pass and is not stored as a separate user profile in this site.
  • Technical logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s settings and operational needs.
  • Theme preference stays in your browser until you clear it.

Your rights

  • Access the personal data I hold about you.
  • Ask me to correct or delete your data.
  • Ask me to restrict or object to processing in some cases.
  • Withdraw consent at any time when processing is based on consent.
  • Ask for a portable copy where the GDPR gives you that right.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Cookies, local storage and PWA

  • I do not use advertising cookies or analytics cookies on this portfolio.
  • The theme toggle stores your choice in localStorage so the site can remember light or dark mode.
  • The service worker caches static assets on your device to make the site faster and more reliable.
  • These local browser features do not send a separate form submission to me.

International transfers

  • Some infrastructure or email providers may process data outside the European Economic Area.
  • When that happens, I rely on the safeguards offered by those providers and the applicable GDPR transfer mechanisms.

Children

This website is not intended for children under the digital consent age that applies in their country. If you are under that age, please use the site with a parent or guardian.
