Enter a local tariff
Add the base fare, included distance, per-kilometre price, time charge, minimum fare, currency, zones, and schedule used in your city.
Independent ride-price estimate
Taxometer helps passengers make an independent, approximate fare calculation. Enter the rates used in your city, start tracking, and compare the estimate with the price quoted or charged by a taxi.

How it works
The app does not guess a universal taxi price. You configure the rules that apply locally and remain in control of the comparison.
01
Add the base fare, included distance, per-kilometre price, time charge, minimum fare, currency, zones, and schedule used in your city.
02
With your permission, foreground and background GPS estimate travelled distance and charged time while the ride is active.
03
See the approximate running total and compare it with the amount quoted or charged. Local supplements and taxi rules may still change the final fare.
Core tools
Taxometer keeps the tariff, live estimate, trip history, and optional receipt details in one place without requiring an account.
Create single or zoned tariff sets with day, night, Sunday, and holiday variants.
Estimate the fare using GPS distance, waiting or low-speed time, minimum fare, and included distance.
Record a price agreed before the ride and keep the metered estimate visible as a separate comparison.
Keep trips, discounts, statistics, and non-fiscal receipts locally on your device.
Visible during the ride
Native surfaces keep the most important ride information close at hand while tracking continues in the background.
On supported iPhones, see the current estimate in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen during an active ride.
Small, medium, and large widgets can show fare, time, distance, and the active tariff at a glance.
An optional overlay keeps the live fare, time, distance, and tariff visible above other apps.
With permission, the active ride continues to update when the screen is locked or another app is open.
Product tour
A closer look at the live estimate, flexible tariffs, controlled trip completion, local receipt, and personal settings.

Follow the running fare, distance, elapsed time, charged time, GPS status, and active tariff from one screen.

Enable a preset or create your own city, zone, day, night, Sunday, and holiday rates.

Pause first, review the metered estimate, apply a percentage discount, or set the exact final price.

Review the fare breakdown and share a local non-fiscal receipt created on the device.

Use Ukrainian, English, or Polish independently for the interface and receipt, with light, dark, or system appearance.
Roadmap
The long-term goal is to make Taxometer suitable for lawful professional use in supported markets. That requires much more than an accurate GPS calculation, so the work is being approached in stages.
01
Map the requirements of each target market, including passenger information, tariff rules, data integrity, inspection, and privacy.
02
Develop controlled updates, traceable calculations, stronger integrity protections, and the operational flows expected from a regulated product.
03
Work with qualified partners on any required certified fiscal system, authority approvals, testing, and market-specific launch process.
Responsible use
Taxi prices can depend on official local rules, supplements, traffic, route choice, waiting time, GPS quality, and the tariff entered by the user.
FAQ
It can provide an independent approximate comparison. A difference may point to a tariff, route, supplement, waiting-time, or GPS issue, but the estimate alone is not proof of fraud or overcharging.
Not in every city. You can enter and edit the applicable local tariff yourself. Some built-in presets may be available, but official local sources should always be checked.
Not as a replacement for legally required equipment or fiscal systems. Professional use is permitted only where local law expressly allows it and all required approvals are in place.
Current app data is stored locally on the device. The app does not require an account or send trip routes to a developer-operated backend.
